Tully Electrical is a Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP 6771). We handle the connection between your property and the electricity network across Western Sydney and the Lower Blue Mountains, from private power poles to underground mains, and we trench with our own 1.7 tonne excavator.

What Is a Level 2 Electrician?
In NSW, only a Level 2 Accredited Service Provider can work on the service line that connects a property to the network. A standard licensed electrician works on the wiring inside the property. Because Tully Electrical is both, one team can look after your whole job, from the pole or pit to the switchboard and power points.
Level 2 Services
- Private power poles: new poles, replacements and repairs, including drilling the hole with our own equipment
- Overhead service lines: installation, repair and point of attachment replacement
- Underground power connections: new underground mains and overhead to underground conversions
- Consumer mains: replacement and upgrades
- Meter boxes: replacement, upgrades and relocation
- Service upgrades and three phase power: single phase to three phase upgrades for workshops, pumps, EV chargers and large homes
- New connections and temporary builders supply
- Disconnections and reconnections for renovations and repairs
- Defect notices: fixing defects raised by the network, such as Endeavour Energy or Ausgrid

Our Own Excavator for Trenching and Pole Holes
We run a 1.7 tonne excavator for trenching cables and conduits and for drilling private pole holes. On Hawkesbury acreage, where the run from the street to the house or shed can be long, that means you do not need to book a separate excavation contractor and wait between stages.
How a Level 2 Job Works
- We inspect the site and explain what is needed, including any network requirements.
- We give you a written quote and arrange any notifications or bookings with the network.
- We complete the trenching, pole, mains and metering work, test everything and lodge the paperwork.
Level 2 FAQs
When do I need a Level 2 electrician?
Whenever work involves the supply side of your property: a private power pole, overhead or underground service line, meter box, consumer mains, a new connection, a supply upgrade or a disconnection and reconnection.
What should I do if I receive a defect notice?
Do not ignore it. Defect notices have a deadline. Call us about the notice and we will tell you what is involved and quote to fix it.
Can you convert overhead power to underground?
Yes. We trench with our own excavator, install the conduit and underground mains, and make the connection as a Level 2 provider.
Do I need three phase power?
Possibly, if you are adding large loads such as a workshop, bore pump, big air conditioning system or a fast EV charger. We can assess your current supply and advise.
